Susy Visits Pt. 2

Our next adventure was to Taos on the high road. We made stops in Chimayo and the Picuris Pueblo and took an accidental detour South towards Las Vegas. After an extra half hour or so of driving in the snow, we made it to Taos. #gallery-426-2 { margin: auto; } #gallery-426-2 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-426-2 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-426-2 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */

We parked the car and walked around, eventually finding Michael’s Kitchen where we had some great New Mexican food. Unfortunately, the pueblo was closed, so after exploring the town a bit more we headed home. On the way out we stopped at the San Francisco de Asis church, which was made famous by Georgia O’Keefe and Ansel Adams:
